Today, Senator Eliot Shapleigh launched a new website which is easier to navigate and will be updated daily with local, state and national news articles that are pertinent to El Paso and this region.

“People want information and they want it immediately,” Shapleigh said. “The goal of this website is to have up to the minute news up and ready for everyone to read. Once the legislative session begins in January, we will use this site to keep El Paso up-to-date with what is happening in Austin.”

The website is also interactive, featuring a poll section which will contain a new question every week. Poll questions will range from what should the state do about school finance, to which bowl game do you think the UTEP Miners football team will go to.
