"Imagine"

During elections, we all like to imagine. Hillary asks us to imagine a solution -- like universal health care. Obama asks us to imagine 'change.'

Democracy works best when we can imagine a better tomorrow.

Well imagine this -- a beautiful riverside park, right on the Rio Grande, nestled in the Pass of the North, on the very spot where Asarco is today.

Here are some recent photos from "Parque de Los Fundidores" in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Fifty years ago this site housed smelters and smoke, but not today. In Monterrey, now the financial capital of Mexico, people imagined a better way.

Imagine that.
