Senator Shapleigh is working with leaders from the City, El Paso ISD and Fort Bliss to plan a one day seminar about how El Paso can better prepare for thousands of new students that will transfer into El Paso because of BRAC.
Those who visited:
Senator Shapleigh presented the monthly Adelante Con Ganas award on Thursday to Sisters Margaret "Peggy" Denewith and Janet Gildea of La Clinica Guadalupana to honor them for their dedication to serving our community.
Upcoming events:
On Saturday, October 29th, from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM the El Paso Health Coalition is hosting a neighborhood wellness festival in Eastwood (Album) Park and Recreation Center at 3001 Parkwood. There will be free health screenings, free immunizations, music entertainment and much more.
