EL PASO – On Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at EPCC Administrative Services Center, Senator Eliot Shapleigh (D-El Paso) will hold a town hall meeting on health care reform. Local community leaders will discuss the current health care crisis in El Paso and the potential impact of federal legislative proposals on El Pasoans.
Each leader will give a brief presentation followed by a Q & A session for citizens to engage on this important topic.
The panel will be compromised of health care professionals, including Dr. Jose Luna (Chief Medical Officer, Centro San Vicente), Mr. Salvador Balcorta (Executive Director, Centro de Salud Familiar La Fe), Dr. David Palafox (El Paso County Medical Society), and Producer of the Ray Pearson Forum, Joe Oliva as Master of Ceremonies.
